There were a couple of things that did not make sense to me in the novel.

First of all, how come Jacques Sauniere's last name is different from his wife's? And how come Sophie's last name is not Sauniere or Chauvel?

And secondly, after Remy kidnaps Teabing, he and Silas put him in the limo, and then the Teacher (Teabing) calls Silas from the back of the car. Then he tells Silas that Remy almost messed up their entire plan tonight. Having recently read TDC and actually quite enjoying it as an easy to read absorbing story, I'm now quite facinated by the subject matter and would like to read more, preferably objective as so many of the books on this subject seem not to be. So I'm looking for suggestions and the one I'm thinking of is by Bart Ehrman - Truth and Fiction in the Da Vinci Code. Anyone know if this is any good?
