With the imminent arrival of the Da Vinci Code Movie, Classic FM played part of the sound track for DVC, today.

This section was all choral, and I have to say, sounded very good quality with an air of grandeur which is bound to enhance the overall effect of the film. I'd say Hans Zimmer is well on form with this one, and I'd like to hear the rest of the soundtrack.

I was in Paris last week and visted the Louvre on June 22nd. I asked a security guard if he knew when filming was starting for The Da Vinci Code. He said that the guards all received a memo that the first day of filming was going to be the 23rd and that they would be at the Louvre for the next 15 days. They would shoot every night after the museuem closed and all day Tuesday because the Louvre closes on that day.

Ian McKellan has been confirmed as playing 'Leigh Teabing' in the DVC movie.

Given the fact that the ludicrously named 'Teabing' is one of the silliest and most cliched characters in the book, this is great news. Only an actor of McKellan's ability and talent could possibly lend any credibility to this ludicrous character.
